The holiday of our heavenly horses, the national pride of our people, is widely celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm in all corners of the country. During the celebration of this holiday, on April 23, 2025, the XV meeting of the International Akhal-Teke Horse Association was held at the International Horse Breeding Academy named after Aba Annayev. In the morning, the participants of the meeting of the the International Akhal-Teke Horse Association watched performances by cultural and art figures in front of the building of the International Horse Breeding Academy named after Aba Annayev. Then the guests explored an exhibition of creative works that captured the beauty of Akhal-Teke horses in works of fine art, carpet weaving and jewelry.
In accordance with the agenda of the meeting, the work and organizational issues carried out by the the International Akhal-Teke Horse Association were covered in the speeches. During the meeting, a member of the the International Akhal-Teke Horse Association, director of the Jacob Verdezucht GBR horse breeding company in the Republic of Germany, honored horse breeder of Turkmenistan Katerina Jacob spoke and noted that consistent work is being done in Turkmenistan to develop the horse breeding industry and equestrian sports. Then, via video link, a member of the the International Akhal-Teke Horse Association, head of the Uzbek equestrian culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, honored horse breeder of Turkmenistan Avaz Ismailov, a member of the the International Akhal-Teke Horse Association, head of the Garagum equestrian culture of the Akhal-Teke horse breeding of the United States of America, honored horse breeder of Turkmenistan Jessica Eileen Keith, a member of the the International Akhal-Teke Horse Association, president of the Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding Association of the Kingdom of Spain Blanca de Toledo and a number of other foreign horse breeders spoke.
During the meeting dedicated to the National Day of the Turkmen Horse, the Decree of the Esteemed President of Turkmenistan on awarding the honorary title of "Honored Horse Breeder of Turkmenistan" to horse breeders of our country was read out, and in accordance with the decision of the Board of the International Akhal-Teke Horse Association, new Turkmen and foreign members were accepted into the association.
The participants of the meeting expressed their deep gratitude to our Hero Arkadag, our Arkadagly Hero Serdar, who create all the opportunities for the scientific study of our Akhal-Teke horses, which are a valuable asset of the Turkmen people, and the glorification of the art of horse breeding, our heavenly horses at the international level.
